Completing a second round of the 40 over 40 Project for 2022 is one of the most meaningful, fun, and exhilarating things I have ever done. I am a creative who wants to find meaning in my work, and oh boy, did I find it! As a result, I have been enriched by the incredible women I have met by doing this project. My sister and my mother participated in this round and that is just the best thing ever!

All the women on these pages are real, no models here, real women like the ones you encounter everyday around town. These women have a willingness to share their stories, to be seen, to be bold and brave and full of confidence. Women from all walks of life with one thing in common, being over 40 with something to say. Therefore, I am incredibly moved by the feelings and experiences they express.

I am proud of this work and for what it has given me in my own journey into my late-50s. I see my work, my skills, improving every day. My own confidence is growing and growing all the time. I can indeed walk the walk with what this project is all about; to create what I was saying in 2019, a pandemic (sorry) of confident women. The world needs more confident women, and I am so happy to contribute to that ideal.
